Frederik Schroyens is a medical doctor and one of the most influential figures in modern homeopathy, widely recognized for his pioneering work in repertory development and digital homeopathic tools. He graduated in medicine from the State University of Ghent, Belgium, in 1977, and completed his homeopathic training at the Faculty of Homeopathy in London in 1978. He has been practicing homeopathy continuously since then.
In 1981, he became the founding President of VSU, the first Flemish school of homeopathy in Belgium, where he contributed significantly to the education and training of homeopaths through structured multi-year programs. His strong interest in combining homeopathy with emerging technologies led him to become, in 1986, the Scientific Coordinator of the RADAR project.
Dr. Schroyens is best known as the editor of Synthesis – Repertorium Homeopathicum Syntheticum, first printed in 1994. This expanded repertory has become the most widely used modern homeopathic repertory worldwide.
He has worked closely with leading homeopaths, including George Vithoulkas, contributing to the development of the Vithoulkas Expert System. Over the past four decades, he has lectured extensively across Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Africa, sharing his expertise in repertorization, provings, and homeopathic methodology.
Dr. Schroyens continues to play a key role in advancing homeopathy through education, research, and the integration of technology into clinical practice.
